The Entertainer

In 2016 I had a week residency at Silkeborg Højskole, where I shared meals and corridors with 160 students.

Before going to the Højskole, I bought a clown costume. Every morning I would apply my clown make up and put on the clown costume, and I would spend my day among all the people. In the evening I would reapply make up, and then stand in front of the camera, exploring through improvisation the sensations I went through during the day.

It resulted in 99+ short videos. THE ENTERTAINER consists of 3 of these videos, the ones I believe are stronger in their message and performance.
