Displacement is a site specific installation for the space of UNDER 64 in Århus. Since the first time I visited this exhibition space I have wanted to use it enhancing and working with it´s elements of time and decay.

Displacement was created in collaboration with Christoffer Brekne and Andreas Constantinou. We worked hard to create a site specific that would make the audiences feel displaced, like the feeling one gets often when coming from a different culture and not being able to decode all the social cues. One asks oneself...is this the right space...?

Displacement was created with support from Århus Kommune Kulturudviklingspuljen and Under 64 and was shown in April 21 and again for Juxtapose Artfair after the exhibition panel of the gallery asked us for a redo.
